Joseph K. Bannon Sr., MBA

Richard Ohanesian  AIF®

Richard Ohanesian is a Principal, representative and partner of Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.

For the past 30 years, his area of responsibility is in the management of Defined Contribution Plans and Defined Benefit Plans.  He is actively involved in the design, installation and ongoing asset management of retirement plans.  He currently represents public and privately held corporations throughout the East Coast.  Mr. Ohanesian employs an extensive list of rigorous standards and practices in managing pension plans as established by the Foundation for Fiduciary Studies. 

In addition Mr. Ohanesian advises numerous Trusts and Foundations assisting them in establishing Investment Policy Statements and setting up monitoring policies and practices that encompass their stated investment objectives.  As an (AIF) Accredited Investment Fiduciary Mr. Ohanesian is also a co-fiduciary of the plans he advises.

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.,  Mr. Ohanesian worked at major Wall Street firms including Paine Webber and E.F. Hutton where he traded institutional corporate and municipal bonds.  Mr. Ohanesian is a graduate of Kenyon College.
 

Ronald G. Lecours, CFP

Ron Lecours is a Principal, representative and partner of Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  He has helped to build the investment firm where he now manages over $100 million of retirement assets for his clients.

Ron has come to specialize in the unique rules, investment management, distribution, and estate planning considerations for IRAs and other assets for retirement income planning.  http://www.thelecoursreport.com

Mr. Lecours is a Certified Financial Planner and has been a Board Member of the International Association for Financial Planning and the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. In his effort to refine his education and training, Ron has been designated as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, and most recently, he was named to Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group®, a national network of IRA specialists. Ron is a member of the Connecticut Chapter of The Financial Planning Association, and The Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford.

He graduated from the University of Connecticut where he majored in Psychology and he pursued a M.Ed. from Boston College.

Clifford Jarvis
 
Clifford Jarvis is a Principal and Senior Vice President of Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  His responsibilities include assisting individuals with comprehensive investment planning and implementation.  Mr. Jarvis also serves as the main contact for the outside representatives.

 Mr Jarvis has over 20 years investment experience. He graduated from the University of Hartford and earned a Masters in Economics from the University of New Hampshire.

 

 

Clifford B. Backes

 
Clifford Backes is a Principal and Senior Vice President of Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  Mr. Backes has been in the investment business sine 1982. His focus is long-term building of wealth for individual investors. He utilizes a proprietary system of investment analysis drawing from strict top-down fundamental analysis and his experience as a technical analyst and stock market historian.

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc. in 1992, Mr. Backes worked with First Investors Corp., Mosley Securities and Fahnestock & Company. Mr. Backes is a Registered Options Principal.

Sandra L. Hart

Sandy Hart is a Senior Vice President with Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc. She is currently responsible for managing the operational and administrative support staff as well as developing and implementing company policy in these areas.  She oversees the communications and equipment technologies along with managing the office space and its furnishings.

She has been with the Firm since its inception in 1989.  Her role at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours has taken her through all facets of the business from the front desk to licensing to payroll and benefits to operations and to management.  Prior to helping start the Firm, Mrs. Hart worked at Paine Webber.

Joseph K. Bannon, Jr., CFP®, CFS

Joseph K. Bannon, Jr., is Vice President of Investments and the Mutual Fund Coordinator for the office, serving as a source for product information.

 He is a Villanova University graduate and holds the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner ™) and CFS (Certified Fund Specialist) designations.  Previously, Joe worked as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, a Wall Street investment firm, where he provided expert advice on mutual fund and annuity products.

Mr. Bannon has over ten years investment experience.  His main area of concentration has been the management of stock, bond, and mutual fund portfolios for private and corporate clients as well as opening and managing IRA’s and small business retirement plans.


 

Thomas O’Brien, CFP

  Thomas F. O'Brien is a Vice President, Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.

Mr. O'Brien has over forty years of investment experience focusing on total return-oriented individual and retirement programs.  He utilizes value driven fundamental analysis to design creative equity and option strategies to build client wealth and enhance current return.

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.,  Mr. O'Brien was an Investment Account Executive with A.G. Edwards.  In addition, he possesses extensive experience as an Investment Analyst and Institutional Equity Manager.
  Mr. O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Quinnipiac University and has MBA work at the University of Hartford.

 

Jeffrey Cohan

Jeffrey a Cohan is a Vice President of Investments and General Securities Principal at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.

Now entering his 30th year in the industry his investment activity and concentration is devoted full time towards wealth building through managed portfolios, portfolio management and design is focused on total return objectives for individual, retirement, and institutional clients

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours in 2006, Mr Cohan worked at Denton & Co. as an operations and compliance manager. His portfolio management career ensued in 1980 as he began managing individual and institutional accounts for Denton & Co. In 1990, he was recruited to open and manage an office for Boston based regional broker Fechtor Detwiller & Co. This successful experience led to his recruitment by the Hartford based regional broker, Buell Securities, as a Managing Partner in 1992. 

Jeffrey Cohan attended University of New Hampshire’s Whittimore School of Business and University of Hartford earning a BS in Economics and Finance.

Kenneth Rizzio, CLU, ChFC

Ken Rizzio is a Financial Advisor, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.

Mr. Rizzio has over 20 years of Investment and Financial Planning experience focusing on Individual Portfolio Management, Corporate Retirement Plans and Personal and Corporate Life Insurance.  He uses Asset Allocation Model Portfolio’s designed specifically for the clients risk tolerance and time horizon.

Ken Rizzio has been affiliated with Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc. since 1996 while he was a principal with Arthur A. Watson Co., Inc.  He joined Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc. full time in May 2007.

He attended Morse School of Business in Hartford, CT, and received designations CLU and ChFC from The American College in 1988.

 

Wil Nicholson

William J. Nicholson is the Chief Compliance Officer at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  He is in charge of overseeing and managing compliance issues, ensuring that the firm is acting in accordance with regulatory requirements, and that the firm and its employees are abiding by internal policies and procedures.

Mr. Nicholson has been in the securities industry
since 1995.  In addition to being a General Securities Representative, Mr. Nicholson is a General Securities Principal, a Registered Options Principal, an Introducing Broker/Dealer Financial and Operations Principal, and a Municipal Securities Principal.

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.,
Mr. Nicholson was a Vice President, Compliance Officer with Infinex Investments, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where he majored in History and Sociology.

 

Sharon M. McQuillan

Sharon M McQuillan is a Registered Representative and Director of Client Services at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc. Her experience and technical expertise are utilized in the retirement plan reporting functions that include performance and statistical analysis. She also responsible for the firm's investment research, sales and marketing support including website design and management.

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours in 1999, Ms. McQuillan worked at CIGNA Investments, Inc. for ten years.  She also worked at major Wall Street firms including Shearson Lehman Brothers and Prudential Bache. She has over 20 years of financial experience and is a licensed registered representative.

 

 


Michelle Gillette

Michelle Gillette  is an Assistant for Brokerage Operations and Portfolio Administration at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  Ms. Gillette is responsible for operational support to the registered representatives in our home and branch offices as well as operational support and client services.  She also is responsible for working with the firm’s portfolio management and reporting system. 

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc., Ms. Gillette worked at NewAlliance Bank in the Accounting and Treasury departments.  She is experienced in accounting, cash management, account reconciliations, and securities.  She has over eight years of financial experience and is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. 


Erika LeBaron 

 
Erika J. LeBaron is a Director of Operations at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  Her extensive knowledge and experience in operations makes her a valuable asset to the firm.  She assists the staff and the registered representatives in all facets of operations. Ms. LeBaron manages and oversees the commissions and accounting activities for the firm which includes combining commissions of direct business and securities business. She is also actively involved in the training of office personnel.   
 
Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc., she worked at Paine Webber. Ms. LeBaron has over 20 years of investment operations experience.


Jennifer Egan, CPA

Jennifer Egan is a Special Projects Manager at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc. Ms Egan is responsible for enhancing the firms portfolio management and reporting systems.

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Ms. Egan worked at Kostin, Ruffkess & Company, LLC as a senior staff accountant in-charge of the Broker/Dealer audits of the accounting firm.

Ms. Egan holds a bachelors degree in Accounting from American International College. She has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1986 and began working in the securities industry in 1988. Ms. Egan has over 20 years of financial experience.

Celia Li

Celia Li is a bookkeeper at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  Ms. Li is responsible commissions processing and many other accounting functions in the firm. She also assists in the processing of payroll.  

Prior to joining Bannon, Ohanesian and Lecours in 2000, Ms. Li worked at the Salvage Alert Company. She received her BS in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. 

 

 

Donna Rizzio

Donna Rizzio is the front desk Receptionist at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  Her main areas of responsibilities are the handling incoming telephone calls and greeting clients.  She also assists in the licensing area.

 



 

Cathie Meredith

Cathie is the afternoon Receptionist at Bannon, Ohanesian & Lecours, Inc.  Her main areas of responsibilities are the handling incoming telephone calls and greeting clients.
